Hi, I am Dr Amanda.
I am a mental health professional, and I created Budding Space so that anyone who wishes to invest in their mental well-being can get the support they need.
Mental well-being is more than the absence of mental disorders and disabilities. When your mental well-being is at its optimum, you develop the resilience to pursue your life to its fullest. You are aware of your strengths and abilities; you are capable of handling stress; you are working productively and feeling fulfilled; and you are able to connect with others and make a contribution to your community.
In other words, investing in your mental well-being allows you to create the conditions under which you will flourish further.
