Hi, I'm Dr Amanda

Since 2011, I have been dedicated to developing my clinical expertise in trauma work. Over the years, I have supported individuals experiencing stress-related difficulties, social and emotional challenges, and a range of psychological concerns, including mood and anxiety disorders, obsessive–compulsive disorder, substance-related issues, and somatic symptom difficulties.

I also regularly conduct formal psychological assessments to help clients better navigate their educational or professional environments.

My therapeutic style is integrative and client-centred, drawing from multiple evidence-based approaches. Above all, I believe that meaningful therapeutic work rests on a foundation of trust, safety, support, and nurturance—conditions that allow true healing and growth to unfold.

Mental health is, to me, a form of wealth. I am deeply committed to promoting mental well-being and helping individuals recognise the importance of caring for their inner world.

And as a small but delightful part of the experience, my mini poodle, Coffee, often accompanies me at work. Her cheerful presence brings warmth and comfort to the therapy space, offering an added layer of support to the healing process.

Through Budding Space, I hope more people will discover their strengths, unlock their potential, and find fulfilling, meaningful ways to live.
